About Shane
Aloha, I’m Shane! I was first exposed to and fell in love with the world of photography in May of 2010. Ironically my wife put my first camera in my hands on our first date. Inspired by the opportunity to capture a moment in time, I’ve continued to hone and develop my photographic skills with every chance I get. Entirely self-taught, my photographic style uses the bright and beautiful landscapes of Mother Earth as inspiration for my artistic expression.
When I’m not exploring nature, I am employed by the Hawaii Department of Education on Oahu’s North Shore. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a Hawaii Licensed Behavior Analyst, I am fortunate to work with a variety of children - many with special needs and unique circumstances. Photography acts as my own therapy enabling me to be more in tune with both of my careers.
I currently reside on Oahu with my wife Ashley and my sons Lincoln and Crosby. I use Sony and Canon cameras and also a Nauticam waterhousing for my underwater photography. From sunrises through midday underwater to sunsets and into the night –

Custom Sizes and Local Pickup
I do offer custom size prints. All the images on the website are 2:3 ratio. Some images can be cropped to a different ratio - such as 4:5 (e.x. an 8"x10") - but it may change the output of the image. I can print in Aluminum Metal, Canvas, or Semi-Gloss paper. Custom cut Aluminum Metal or Canvas prints start a $0.80/square inch. Email me for quotes.
Yes, Local Pickup is an option on Oahu in either Mililani or Haleiwa.

Is this AI?
-NO! All photos are by me and from my camera. Yes, I do shoot using .RAW format and control all editing myself but all images were birthed from an organic experience.
Why are Matted Paper Prints only available in certain images?
-All listed Matted Paper Print options are the same prints you may have seen at my Art Show Booths in Hawaii. I have stock of these prints in my office and can usually fulfill the order quickly. Any other image CAN be printed on paper - please email shane@shanemyersphoto.com for inquiries.
When should I expect my prints?
-I keep stock of all listed Matted Paper Prints in my office and can fulfill orders very quickly. For Aluminum Metal Prints: for purchase on the mainland, I do work with a partner printer out of New York who directly drop ships to you and we can usually get the prints out quite quickly (with faith-based holiday exceptions*). For Hawaii-based Aluminum Metal Print orders, I do print locally and it does usually take about a week for the print to be ready (pickup near Mililani). At which time, I will reach out to you to figure out getting you your art.
Why can I not click on the size I want. It's listed, but won't let me add to my cart?
-All photos are only available in sizes that I would be comfortable putting on my own wall. Some of the images may have been with a smaller resolution camera or cropped up; therefore, larger sizes may not be available in adequate quality.
What if I want a specific crop or different size not listed?
-I can do custom print sizes and materials (e.g. canvas, paper only w/no mat). Please email me shane@shanemyersphoto.com
Do you do email/photo blasts?
-No. I do not currently have a regular email blast or send SMS texts about Shane Myers Photo.
Do you do wholesale?
-Yes! I have multiple partners currently. Please email shane@shanemyersphoto.com
Do you do family portraits or weddings?
-No, unfortunately I simply do not have time and no longer have the required gear (e.g. diffusers, flash, etc)
